Was just looking through some old Australian Birdkeeper mags, and was reading about the Red Crested Cardinal. Was wondering if it is still available in Aus? If so, are its numbers stable?

Imo,they are pretty much gone,if not they would probably need walking sticks. Craig

Thats a shame, its pretty disheartening reading about all these beautiful birds that were once available here, that have now died out, or are on their last legs.
