Sound like you have some "true" RH birds there. My understanding is if the parent birds are "true" RH then all the young would be also.
50% Male >> Red (Head) - Purple (Chest) - Green (Body)
50% Female >> Red (Head) - Purple (Chest) - Green (Body)
If the male was split to black then you could get a result like this....(thank you Carlos Matos)
25% Male >> Red / Black (Head) - Purple (Chest) - Green (Body)
25% Male >> Red (Head) - Purple (Chest) - Green (Body)
25% Female >> Black (Head) - Purple (Chest) - Green (Body)
25% Female >> Red (Head) - Purple (Chest) - Green (Body)
with the 3 RH pairs and 17 offspring I would think that you would have seen a BH in there somewhere if that was the case.
Any splits to YH in either of the parent birds would not show visually in the young but some would be split to YH
