Spent three or four days targeting plummies over the last month while away. I had about 7 spots to check out two or three I couldnt find four hours wasted looking for each one.the other spots I found with only one spot bringing in the goods.I photographed plumheads, chestnuts, double bars, red broweds and zebras at this location while only targeting plumheads.I have about 2000 photos to go through to pick out the good ones but here's a few to share. These are most likley reasonably common for our N.S.W and Q.L.D comrades but was a special time for me to watch in the wild.

Nice Gomer. Plumheads tend to be hard to pinpoint at times, fairly nomadic from what I have read.
What general area were these taken?
Did you spend any time in the Hunter Valley?
Cheers
Ian

Ian they were taken in the Moree area (palamalawa).
Craig have blue face, red eared, beautiful ( should not be hard) Parson ( have seen diggles but not photographed) to go. Then look at sub species. We mask ,lessor w/b crimsons etc... Some I have photographed I wouldn't mind better photos of though.

Was thinking of going this year,Since I was in Brissy about a third of the way. The way work is though I want to save my long service just incase. Maybe in a year or two there looks like there is a get together next year at Parrys I may go to instead.
