Lovely birds. I'm planning on getting a pair of Scarlet Chested parrots, but I'm not sure whether to chuck them in with my finches or my plum-head parrots.

Hi Shane.
Plumheads can often share an aviary with other birds but keep an eye on things if you do put the scarlets in with them. After all, it's now the plumheads' territory. How big is the aviary?

It's a 2x2x2 cube. The plum heads aren't in there yet, so there would be no established territory issues.

Not generally into the blues. But that is a particularly nice specimen. Good luck in breeding these guys to their mates. Which I persume you have.
