What is the best way to file down baby parrots and lorikeets nails without traumatising them. I don't like clippers, as it never fails, I get one or two - too short!
My babies like crawling and snuggling on my chest. I have had to purchase Savlon to treat the scratches. Hope someone can advise. Regards.
How to do without traumatising?

Maybe you answered your own question, file the points off them with a nail file or emery board. CraigBluJay wrote:What is the best way to file down baby parrots and lorikeets nails without traumatising them. I don't like clippers, as it never fails, I get one or two - too short!

Thanks, Craig52, doesn't matter which kind of file? Should I have someone else hold them? While I file away? Regards
