Hi Blu-Rey, with daylight saving approaching this weekend and the days getting longer, would it not make more sense to save your money, and wake up a little earlier and feed them in the morning. When I was a sprightly chicken, a long time ago, without daylight saving, I used to wake up at 5.00 am to work in my vegetable garden. Think about it, it could make more sense.

Thanks spit fire
Reside in qld so no daylight saving
I am on a property and already get up at 4:30 to start
More need it for when I get home late
I can get home after dark and do a lot of chores under lights but don't want the sudden shock of lights out bang

If it has a plug that will be different to the AU plugs for a start, but the adapters you can buy work well.
If it needs to be hard wired, best get an electrician.
Im also sure the colour coding on the wires inside electrical items are different now too, not sure how it compares to here though. When I left the UK there was a combination of the old and the new wiring in houses and electrical items depending on what had been renewed after the new legislation had been passed.

Hi Diane
They have said they will put an Australian plug on it and is compatible with Australian power supply
So should work fine

Hi Blu-Rey it does matter if you wire it to Australia standerd the wire cable colour do not comply, to my understanding red or brown as active, black or blue as neutral, green was earth, until they make it green/yellow as earth, not grey as earth in
link that you show us,it all about safety that we wire up the wires in the right terminal and using the right colour for earth and should follow the Australia standard wiring rule regulation ,I hope this will help you to understand it why these rule are made.
By the way are talk about three phase or single phase wiring of that cable you talk about Blu-Rey

Hi mr tino
No it is single phase and just need to make sure it is wire up correctly . It's not hard wired so that makes it easier
