I bought this new gouldian hen NH PB yellow, but I'm not sure what head colour male I should pair her with and what colour young to expect.

Reminds me of the old story about Mike the headless chicken (http://www.miketheheadlesschicken.org/story.php). Head colour of it's progeny will be difficult to predict before the first lot colour up so I'd recommend a yellow headed cock for your first trial - she won't notice the difference!

I went out to the aviary this morning to find a miracle...she has grown a head.
I now think I'll pair her with a black headed male.
