I breed birds (very well) in planted outdoor aviaries in which they are fed (among other things) live termites and other insects every day as well as fresh green grass seed heads. My birds build their own nests (mostly in growing grasses or shrubs/branches), incubate their own eggs, and rear their own young. They are all mated to as unrelated pairing options as is physically possible of their own species. The more natural the diet and conditions I provide, the better are their breeding results.
Now how exactly do you breed your birds Tailfeathers?

TailFeathers is new to breeding Tiaris.

See his into of 22 Nov: I'm new to breeding, ................

Maybe you can just suggest some good basic bird keeping books. After all, “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl.

cheers, case

I have come to the conclusion that TailFeathers likes an argument
it is said that Light travels faster then sound
People appear bright until you hear them speak
you are stepping on toes TailFeathers, big time
Barging in here like a storm trooper and creating waves will
not help your cause one iota.

My issue tf is with your topics. The questions you are asking are concerning. You should not keep any birds until you have thoroughly researched the needs. If you don't like the info you get on here then disregard and move on. Fighting the point doesn't achieve anything.

Is this one persons view or is hybridizing a common practice in the US?

That is because I'm the one who has telepathy and understands that certain people don't like the idea of hybrids and artificial Insemination and then attacked for wanting to know how these are best achieved right?

Then I get attacked and when I defend myself I'm causing waves. Honestly, I could care less. Reason? I never came in here with intentions to disrespect anybody but I don't think the Aussies have disproved the stereotypes I hear about them, I fact they have been reinforced.

It is common practice people love mule singers as they have mixed songs of both parents and are more active in their singing.
