Boiled eggs are a far superior food source to mealworms from a nutritional point of view, particularly if the mealworms are baked. However, I can see that they would be a lot easier to feed and have less hygiene issues.

Like it or not, some birds eat the eggs of other birds. There are even those that specialise in breaking open the large eggs of ground dwelling birds. You can even find the odd canary that will eat it's own eggs.

Some birds survive by eating other birds. That is the way of things.

Firstly, tell me where I said feeding egg is not allowed or never to be done? I mentioned it more than once, but I'll mention it again. I'm not comfortable with the idea of birds eating eggs like canaries for example. Since in the wild, it's a rare occurrence and not part of their natural diet. I feed my canaries baked mealworms.

lastly, the topic here is herb seed. If youre not taking s out herb seed, find another topic to discuss egg feeding and homework.

You're not allowed to do that on this topic. The reason is bc its part of the forum rules. You mustn't do that. You cannot come and just post whatever you feel like. I know it's hard not to p, but if we stay focused them the forum will lack clutter and become more organized.

I don't go on other peoples topics just to give my opinion about something other than the topic.

If you want to talk about herb seeds I'm more than happy to learn what you feed your birds. Ok?

TF sorry but you brought that subject up first in this post....

I've also been able to get canaries to eat mealworms which is pretty hard to do. Just feed them baked. Sometimes they mistake them for seed and it definitely beats feeding them boiled egg in my opinion.
