This is definately the sort of thing people should get awards for.
Preserving Aussie wildlife. And I'm not predjudiced any sort is OK. The fact that this time it's birds is just a bonus. :lol:
Though someone should tell him it's time to write a new addition of his book, the second hand ones are selling at $60 up on Amazon when you can get them, and only those over 10 yrs old.

I will say i agree with David Pace and not Russell,regarding their views on the crimson finch.As with David my experiances are simular.

there seems to be a lot of debate on that subject.

I think it all depends on the individual birds. Russell may have had aggressive birds, David/Gomer may have had non aggressive birds. Of course, this is all based on my personal view that all birds have personalities, and I know a few people probably will not agree.

Yeppers birds have personalities , some can even be out right turds ( i have one like that)........and yes if every one on earth agreed on everything it would be dead set boring .
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
