Finally took some pictures I'm happy with , no distracting wire shadows and I think I have isolated the bird a lot better from the background than before.
I'm very happy with this bird, it is the 1st gouldianI have bred, it was from the 1st clutch to hatch last year and I find hime very attractive.

Is it the lighting or is Dad a darker blue round the head than son?
