Colouring on male red cheeked cordon Bleus

Hi All
Just wondering how pond it takes male red cheek cordons to get the red on the cheek ?
I had 2 fledgling about 2 months ago & one has more blue on it but no red . :yawn:
This week we got 3 new fledglings , 1 has more blue again ?

The bluer ones in the eldest clutch should start to get the odd red feather over the next few weeks & should be fully coloured in another couple of months.
