Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself.
I grew up with aviaries filling the backyard and of course it was only natural for me to then build aviaries once I had my own backyard. Both my sons have bred pigeons, finches and chooks. I recently moved house and have just finished building new aviaries. At the moment I have red brows, double bars, parrots and stars.

Welcome to the forum. Those of us who grow up with birdo parents are more likely to become birdos (like you and me). So good job on getting your boys involved.

It's a great hobby - passion - and I've made some good friends over the years, so yes it's pleasing that both boys have also got the birdo 'bug'. I'm as of this week semi-retired, so am planning on spending more time with birds and hopefully growing my collection and knowledge. Still feel I have so much to learn.
