I have had quite a few discussions with Daniel about this and other closely related topics.
He is therefore aware that if we are to try to get any sort of importation approved we need the support of ALL aviculturists, not just the parrot breeders.
I have urged him to include the finch/softbill groups on such discussions so I am pleased to see that people on AFF and the finch clubs will be involved also.

Great information on importation. Great to hear Daniel include finches and others in addition to parrots.

Of particular interest was Daniel's comments that breeding Orange Bellied Parrots is not significantly different to other neophemas. Once out in Aviculture we'll have thousands of them in no time.

What has been actually achieved in the past 25-35 years of zoos mucking around with OBPs at enormous expense?
