Growth on beak

Hi all

I have noticed a small growth on the beak of one of my painted finches. Can anyone help me with what it is and how to treat it

Scaly mite,painteds are prone to this especially on the bill. Paint moxidecton on it or buy a scaly mite treatment. Or a vegetable oil to suffocate the mites. Craig
