Better late than never . .

No shortage of people wanting to interfere with normal people carrying out normal activities

Would bird sales pass the 'Pub Test' . .

99.9% . . YES

Had a great day at the sale, went with Mr Tino, colored feathers and Gouldian Paul,it's always a great laugh with these blokes,i was selling mainly my mum's budgies,30 birds, sold in the first half hour ,we also had a variety of finches ,red brows, gouldians, emblema's,plumb heads, can't keep up with the demand for plumb heads so in the end i had to take orders, only took home one pair of red brows, sold everything else. This is the best run sale by far, plenty of helpers to make it as stress free for both birds and sellers,it was a credit to sellers that every selling cage was in pristine condition, fully covered cages open front, clean and no over crowding ,birds were in beautiful condition, exotics were down one side of the venue so you could place orders for birds after the sale,it was a great show of support by both sellers and organizers, women buyers out numbered the men with most topping up their aviaries with good quality stress free birds, great to catch up with all the AFF members there's to many to mention but a great show of support,DEPI,RSPCA,inspectors were there, had a quick word with them and they couldn't find fault with birds, cages or venue, hope this sale runs for a very long time into the future,as these sales are the best place to buy clean, well fed, stress free birds, where you can talk to the owner of the bird and find out it's complete history, cheers garyh

Excellent remarks Gary. My first experience at Mornington. It must be a sight to behold when everyone can participate.
