I've learned so many things from magazines, websites and here on the forum. There's so much I do now that I wasn't doing a year ago; or even just six months ago.
Some things that come to mind:
- Widened the variety of fresh foods I feed, such as adding kale and endive.
- Providing daily bath water.
- Occasionally adding Apple Cider Vinegar to drinking water.
- Painting the wire black.
So my question: What are you doing now that you weren't doing a year ago?
How have you improved?

- Adding Cod Liver oil to the soaked seed during cold weather.
THats all I can think of for now, but i'm sure there are more - They've just become part of my routine so I don't remember, haha

I gotta start getting into live food. I only have a handful of birds that will even touch the stuff, so I keep putting it off.- Breeding maggots and mealworms.
I finally got my Lovebirds to start eating greens this year. The average clutch size has grown from two to four, so it's definitely been a worthwhile exercise.I remember a vet saying that parrot keepers were really improving.
