Howdy,
I am Dave and have now retired, which will give me time to enjoy my first ever aviary.
I have spent a large amount of time in outback Oz where I have really enjoyed the sound of Zebra finches. I now want that sound in my backyard. As I am so new to this, I have a lot to learn and am looking forward to doing that.
In retirement my interests are watching sport and caravan travel (about 3 months a year). Luckily my daughter lives close by and can look after the aviary during our travels.

Welcome to the forum. Now you just might be able to turn your daughter into a birdo also.
My mother and I also do the avairy sitting when each other happens to be away.
