Hi! I'm new from eastern WA, USA. Saw a post from mickp on another site with a link here so I joined up to share and learn. I have a new aviary I just built outdoors. I have 10 zebras, 2 society, and one canary. So far so good but hoping to get tips on making it through the winter. - ann

I have a 8ft by 4 ft aviary. It has1/2 inch vinyl coated mesh. It is nestled in the eaves of the house. In eastern Washington we have hot summers up to 105f and cold winters to 10f. The birds have only been out for three days now. It was 107f yesterday and I ran a mister to help them out. They looked hot!
