Could someone please give me a definitive answer to the question of keeping these two species together in a large ( 9mx3mx2m) planted aviary.I have read conflicting reports on this matter and am totally confused . Any help will be greatly appreciated ,thanks

Like people all birds are different. ...so you will have to buy from a breeder who has the quieter type cuban and keep your eyes on them especially during breeding. ..two feed stations would help also. ...

Temperament example. My current Cuban cock is not safe to have Orange Breasteds in the same avairy, he will hound them to death. My previous 2 Cuban cocks before that were fine with OB's and ignored them. Just an example of my experiences with 3 different cocks over a period of quite a few years. Sorry have not tried them with Jacarini's.

I've had Cubans and Jacarinis together for years without issue. Might be different in small aviaries. The only real issue I've ever had with Cubans is cocks that are aggressive/murderous to their own kind, including young if not caught up once independent.
