Looks similiar to Guinea Grass...(my birds go nuts over it plus I can freeze it for later) thats what we have in Qld... http://www.eattheweeds.com/wp-content/u ... 0009_2.jpg :thumbup:

I have something that looks pretty much the same, the birds love it! There is another side to it as well, if I miss before it seeds the little black ants take it away. Go figure!

Looks more like GG than tussock to me. But I am no expert. I just try anything that seeds and if they like it I keep feeding it, and if they don't I stop. Keep it simple principal.

Definitely not Guinea grass as the seed of this doesn't have ears to it but it looks good to feed. Craig

Looks very similar to seed head of Stipa ramosissima.
