a jacarini question

does anyone know if u have a fawn hen jacarini and a split cock r the male young chocolate or do they moult into chocolate later ? i know the hens will b fawn. not so sure on the males

You should get both fawns and split fawns in the male progeny. The fawns will be chocolate. I don't know what they look like as juveniles.

I didn't think you can get fawn cock birds, only the hens will be fawn. I have never seen a fawn cock bird only splits of which are black of course. Craig

You can get fawn cocks, but they look dark brown (chocolate) rather than fawn.
