Hi Davally,

If you've gone so far as to use mouseproof wire, i'd have a crack at finding out where they are getting in and fixing the problem, a long easier in the long run than continually baiting mice. You need to be methodical and really strict. get down on your hands and knees and follow the lines around the avairy looking for gaps. remember the bottom likewise needs to be wired (or appropriate foundations) or they will dig in. remember that whilst they cannot get through mouseproof wire, they will climb it until they find a gap. For smaller avairies, I build a pine "box" using garden sleepers, then wire the whole underside as if its a side panel of the aviary. i lay that flat on the ground, then fill box with gravel/sand/soil. no mice yet.
