Brave RCCB cock takes on a Splendid Wren. Not a good idea but he gets away with it. They've returned to avoiding each other now, so all is calm again.

That wren is stunning; almost looks like a cartoon that you've edited into the video.

I wonder why the RCCB picked the fight. I've always observed them to be a timid and placid species.

Possibly the cordon wanted the live food for young ? It would give him more incentive to take on such a opponent.

Could it be a color thing? blue on blue abit like cubans not liking similar colored birds.

Looks like it might be time to rehome the wrens so the cordons can continue to breed. Let me know if you want me to pick them up

Turn off the lights and put all the live food in the trap. That will get them in there
