Hey everyone :) I was wondering what type of nesting box works best for zebras :D I only have one pair at the moment in a large cage, they are the cutest little pair and so in love  finches are so beautiful

In all honesty it really doesn't matter which type. They will nest in anything from a large parrot nestbox to the base of a doorframe. Whatever is easiest for you to access & use will do them fine.

The old breeders used to say.
"if you stand still long enough, they'll nest in your hat"

I’ve had them nest on the floor with no nest box, on top of nest boxes and in canary nests .

Small/medium cane basket , all of 2 bucks, or a shoe box with with a hole it, plenty of material, you cant go wrong. If you do,with a pair of zebs, give it away! Hobby just not for you! Good luck, you should do well.

A cardboard box about 15cms square with an entry hole cut in is good, because you just chuck it away and replace with the same after each nesting. Lots less messy, and cheap. Give them some shreaded white tissues and lengths of grass about 20/40cm long and it couldn;t be easier.

Hi & welcome
I have used coffee tins & the tins that have milk powder for babies or I just make some simple boxes.
In my signature at bottom of my post there is a link to pics of my zebs & you can see the simple box I use to use, also the bengalese are using the milk tins, have a little look.
