Knowing Grumpz's aversion to spiders I reckon cement is the only way to go. Take two teaspoons and it will help harden you up!

Gary I hear on the grape vine that Grumpz is a bit of a snake charmer in his spair time. When it comes to those things i would need a truck load of cement to tuffen up

I've had a marked increase in red backs this year too. They don't scare me, but this morning when I opened up a nest box, a bloody big huntsman came running out. Scared the crap out of me.

thankfully I dont have any hassles with spiders in the aviaries.
once a month I spray my aviaries (walls, roof and plants) with coopex.
there are a couple of places i dont spray, try and keep a few daddy long legs in the aviaries as the st helenas enjoy eating them.

Grumpz,

You could try that muscat that you drink on those spiders, probably the snakes too. Speaking from experience I think once those critters have had a taste of it they won't want another.
