Thanks Mick there is some good ideas there. I am looking to have a constant supply of live food as i feel that the birds will benifit and be stronger

I have been thinking of setting up a fly box.would all my aussie finches eat them?which aussies eat them?Do they eat the maggots or pupae?

I would say the magots and yes your finches would go mad on them, they might take a bit to get use to them if they haven't had live food.

Hey gomer i might make a fly box and the one with the PVC tube, i think this idea will be less hassel
