What colour is this one?

Any idea on what the colour variation is on the fledgling on the left? Parents were both split to blue, green backs.
This young male also had intense colouring at fledge. None of the other 10 fledglings from the 2 clutches are this intense.
Can't wait for moulting time :)

Looks like both parents are split for Australian yellow so they have produced an Australian yellow blue imo. Craig

Just had another look, it's a blue. The light on the back makes it look white.

The bird I'm seeking info on is on the far left - the olive yellow one, which is from the same clutch as the blue fledgling in the middle.
Do you think the olive yellow one will just moult out to a normal green back or is it possibly something else?
I really have no idea on history of the parents - apart from them both being split to blue after getting 2 blues from the first clutch this year.
So I guess my question is, is it possible the parents also carried other mutations?
The cock was a red head/black head, purple breast, green back/blue and hen black head, standard purple breast, green back/blue.
Sorry for any ignorance RE: Genetics, the split for blue was a surprise as thought I had purchased normal birds, I'm not complaining though

That colour is a lot different in colour to the one on the opposite end, could be a new mutation

Have to agree with Tiaris, sunshine and shade makes a big difference and any difference could be sex related by colour. Craig

Rich colouring, but agree, probably a pair of normal/split. Still good to have nice bright birds. :thumbup:
