Finally got me zebs to hatch some babies - not a long time in coming tho. I got them about 4 weeks ago, and her're the chicks:

the second pic shows the difference between a supposed white and another darker colour!
There are now 4 babies.

Not long at all!. The white one seems to have a lot more feather fluff even though it looks to be a bit younger.

try to remember the mouth markings, can make life a lot easier if you are ever unfortunate enough to find a baby bird on the aviary floor one day.
one look in its beak and with luck you will recognise what species it is and be able to put it back in a nest.

mm, yes john, all the parrot finches and cordons are singing! :D

4 days on, babies are about 3 times the size, actually had to LIFT the parent off to get a few snaps :roll: :lol: .
