Just got a quick post here to introduce myself.
I've been breeding birds for about 9 years now. I first started out with a pair of budgies purchased from the local markets when I was 12.
After a few years of keeping Bourke's, Scarlets and Budgies my dad and I attended the Lismore bird sale. As we were walking around the hall he suggested I buy a pair of zebra finches as he liked the noises they made. Being the ever obeying child I was
, a pair of zebs were added to the flock. A year or two later I was lucky enough to meet Barry Powells at the Gunnedah bird sale. He noticed a pair of zebra finches in my carry box and after learning we only lived 30 minutes apart, he insisted I come and see his collection. I ended up leaving his amazing setup with a pair each of Stars, Painteds and Charcoal Zebs. From then on I have been hooked on finches.Thanks for reading and welcoming me to the group!
