I'm hoping I didn't ruin it all when I stuck my fingers in the Diamond's nest today as I haven't heard anything for a couple of days and they aren't brooding in our summer heat so I was unsure that the babe/s were still around but YES it/they are alive and kicking after at least 5 days. I'm sure it's the extra meal worms that's helping much more than the prayers!

Yeh Greg mine nested only about 1.5M from the feeding station which gets a visit twice a day so I wouldn't think that would be too much of a problem.I never saw them sitting on the nest, they must have exited every time I entered.GregH wrote:Hi Will. Thanks for the encouragement. The little guys were still hanging in thismorning (- I can hear them). Their nest is diectly above the door so I can help but disturb them, however it takes a lot to get them off the nest when they are incubating
Good luck with the young ones and let us know how they go.

Looks like my diamonds have nested again as I've been hearing young in the nest for about two weeks now.
Fingers cross.
Being local to this area they really look good even with all this cold weather. The Goulds don't like it much.

They do look abit shifty.triplea wrote:I do like the Diamond. Something about the eye markings
gives a bit of an "evil" look.
