Wondering if the feathers that have been plucked from the head grow back after a while and how long roughly?
Know of a place selling BH PB Gouldies for $30 / pair. and alot of them have this problem from picking at each other.

I think feather loss can be several things, mites, plucking and stress. A couple of members have posted about feather loss, including me. My bird started to lose feathers after two clutches, by July she was completly bald.
I posted again about it in Dec saying she had come through a complete moult with a full head of feathers.

Thanks Diane,
That was quite an informative thread.
Ill grab a few and keep them seperate for a while and see how things go.
At least i now know that the feathers will generaly grow back.
Perhaps a bit of classical music would calm them down. lol
