finally i have some babies out. red face parroties norms and sea greens and some hecks. well at least the finches are breeding........pete p.s u have to be kidding for pics......not game enough to go in the aviaries....

well done, Im hoping the red face parrot finch pair I have will finally decide which nest to lay eggs in out of the three or four they have built.

Hope they are still doing well, I can't match you for degree of diffculty - I I've only had a couple of zebs out lately myself but I've high hopes for a 10 day old diamond sparrow making it.

It certainly is exciting, well done. I am still excited about my four orange Breasted chicks and now I have found hatchings for Ruddies. They had all better stop soon with winter coming up. Apart from two red faced parrots mid last year it has been a lean time for the aviary.

yes its been a lean year. my redface do much better in the colder months well greg h your one up on me with the diamonds, mine still no signs but lets see come august/september if they dont show signs of improvement they are going.i know one pair have been building nests (about 5)i have had to pull it out as i think mice were in there the other pair have been sleeping somewhere as there tails are all bent from nesting, i always will have a softspot for the parroties they are lovely birds, now i have baby scarlets to.fingers crossed for more...thanks deb.....pete
