Thanks guys. Not near me fortunately. Though was unable to get through a couple of roads trying to make an appointment early yesterday arvo and had to give up and reschedule. Was concerned about a couple of old school friends who live in the area of the southern fire, but both have answered my e-mails to say - scary but OK and will be making out bi-monthly get together on Sunday. (recommend that everyone keep up with old school friends - good for mental health) Northern suburbs fire still bad - Croquet clubmates who live out there would have gone home to a concerning situation. Both fires on the outskirts of the built up area where there is (or was) a lot of natural bush. Hubby well trained, he goes out and makes sure our birdbath if full for the native birds daily in this weather.
