Ok so i rang auspigeonco and my local vet they just told me i would need to know the dosages but they cant give me the dosages as its a off label product.
Auspigeonco told me that they didnt know which dosage.. fair enough they dont do dogs. But localvet told me it was off label do it at your on risk...so fair enough aswell i guess.
Gomer if you read this i have moxidectin plus with the praziquental in it. Which one do you use on your dogs? I dont know whether i will actually do it tho as im just to scared and love my dog to bits. But jeez if its safe i cant see why not. Im sure lotsa farmers and such prob use it all on there dogs a cats.

I have only used moxidectin on my dogs not the plus (praziquental) yet. When I spoke to them.I asked them a while ago about doing dogs they told me It wont stop your dogs from getting fleas on them.It will only kill them when they bite them,In their words. But we already knew that the same as frontline etc. Also the praziquental ( for tape worms) will only work if administered internally for both birds and dogs.So putting it on externally the praziquental will not be absourbed into the dog or birds system at all.
Ben in your case,go buy some frontline or what ever they sell at the vets for dogs and you will have total piece of mind.As i said in previous posts,I have only told you what I personally have done. Not what dosage for you to give your dogs.Read this link below and you wont use it on your dogs.

Ok so just treated my cats and dogs vet says the auspigeonco moxidectin 12.5ml for my dog and 4ml each for the two cats. Turns out the auspigeonco moxidectin is much weaker at 2mg\ml.
Gomer a quick question are you using the moxidectin from auspigeonco on your dogs? I have fully sussed it out with my vet. Would Also like to say this is my decision and i researched it alot and had a big look at it with the vet todat and he did the maths and printed out a dosage sheet for me to treat them with the auspigeonco moxidectin.
I claim no responsibility to anyone or nor am i leading anyone down a path if anyone chooses to do the same as me its your responsibility.
Im sorry if i annoyed anyone with this topic and i thank everyone especialy diane mick and gomer. Gomer would love to know tho if your using the auspigeonco moxidectin or another brand.
Thanks again to you guys...Also 12.5mls jeez drowns my poor jack russell but hey as long as its right and i dont hurt him.
Just wanna say tho i realy researched this one to great lengths along with big chats to my vet today and hime going through drug books and parisitology and etc.

Good link Ben.Bayer make all moxidectin and own the name,For those who didnt know. The difference with APC is it has been made half strength.Possible because small birds only need a very small amount direct
I way I read that , And how I dose myself. You have been told to dose at least ten times over the recomended dose.Even using APC at half strength It would be no where near that amount.Or is my maths worse then i thought.

Im reading the the Jack Russell is weighing 7.2 kg
Going by that table he falls into the 4-10kg range so the MAXIMUM dose should be 6.25 I would be giving maybe 5.5 if he were mine.
