Hi, my name is Richard and I live in Camrose, Alberta. I just restarted into finches and have some beautiful gouldian ones and some society ones. I have one very interesting colour that I’m not sure if it is a sf dilute or an Australian dilute. It won’t let me upload a picture but it has pale green wing with a silver head and side feathers and a purple chest. Would like some feedback from the people on the forum!

Hi and Welcome to the Forum Richard.
I don't think you have Australian recessive Dilute backs in Canada. It is most likely a SF Euro black headed cock bird where the black head is diluted to many shades from silver to charcoal grey.

Welcome to the forum. If you go through some of the posts on here, under Gouldian finch, you will see pictures that may confirm what Craig has said.
