Oil Supplements for Gouldians

I'd like some advice please. With Gouldians do you add oil to the seed mix, or include a particular oily seed?

A friend suggested adding Canola Oil, but didn't say how much? Thank you.

My mothers Gouldians breed very well without any additional oil or oil seeds. Only things they get is lots of green seeding heads, and extra canary and white millett.

What finchbreeder said, gouldians very rarely eat oil seeds and don't need any additional vegetable oils in their seeds. Fresh seeding grasses and soaked or sprouted seed keeps them fit and healthy.
