African fire finch breed with other finches

Hey guys I'm new to finches and bought my first African fire finch and wondering can they breed successfully with any other finch species ? Please let me know as I'm new to keep these beautiful birds from Melbourne

They should not.
But there is always a small risk of closely related birds doing so if neither have a suitable mate of their own kind.
So go find the poor bird a suitable mate of it's own kind.
