I want my old life back!

You know those times when you think "gee, we live a really quiet life, nothing exciting happens?" Thats what I used to think.

In the past few weeks,

1. A car has gone through my parents bedroom window, my life is now filled with discussions with builders, window fixers, plasterboard guys and insurance people, and calming down my poor stressed to the max Mum.

2. My son and his fiance are building a house and ETSA in their wisdom have put a pit right in the way of their driveway, not a plate that would lay flat when the driveway is laid mind you, but a half metre high green box! They can move it they said, cost to us...... nearly $10,000 Now my life is filled with email and telephone conversations with ETSA, the Energy Industry Ombudsman, the Essential Services Commission of SA and the land developer.

3. Monday morning I log on the net and cant seem to get into my email account ......well you all know what happened there, London, mugged, etc etc. My Monday was taken up with sorting Yahoo and Facebook out

4. My sister and her family left for a holiday in the USA on Sunday, Mum and Dad get a call this morning.....sister had put their credit cards in the wrong purse .....the purse that was still sitting on the dressing table in their house! This morning my life has been filled with international telephone conversations, banks and Fedx.

Im getting Fedxed up now!....GIVE ME BACK MY OLD LIFE

seems life has gone down the plughole, eh? at least you still have your finches ;)

Just a bit of a rough patch and I needed to vent a bit, things will get better, they always do......anyway Ive had my share of things going wrong now so its somebody elses turn

Yes when it rains it pours , last week was a shocker here also , so much happening but thank fully no deaths or diseases so in the grand plan all is still good .
Just hiccups along the way.

I would pick something a bit warmer than London.
Maybe if you all get an email from somewhere like the Bahamas ......then you can send the money


But I wouldnt ask for money I would be asking for finches to be sent over.

ahh, but then you couldn't bring them back to australia.
unless I misunderstood. I think you meant that you'd like finches sent to you in the bahamas....
and if we sent you money, then you could by more aviaries and more expensive finches, than just finches with not as much space to put them!
