I had 3 young gouldians come out of the nest yesterday.
The father was a yellow headed normal and mother is a red headed normal.
On a sad note the cock died not long after the young hatched and they were raised solely by the hen. I am very pleased that she managed this on her own and thought that she may abandon them. I have introduced several new cocks to aviary and maybe she will mate with one of them next time round.
I took these pictures this morning.
