Gulgong is hosting their bird sale and show on the 17th starting at 9am.
Its not quite your Orange / Gunnedah affair but it is a curious little get together on top of the hill at the showground , some would call it quaint others would be less complimentary however after speaking to one of the organisers it is looking promising this year with people coming from Parkes , Bathurst and Lithgow to sell off some birds.
Very honest fella he was when asked what the chances of getting an O/Breast hen there on the day his reply....if thats all your coming for then doent waste your petrol , chances are buckleys. :(

Inverell would have been cold enough, let alone Gulgong in July. Hope your gunna take the port, and not the stone's :lol:

SADLY my daughter and her family have moved back there ( we lived there b4 coming to Dubbo) so I have to go to the hole of a place regularly , funny how once you live in a small country town you appreciate bigger towns , who needs that much isolation?
Yes it is cold , in ya bones kind of cold . Any hoo good news is other half works weekends so I wont be going am going to hang out for Forbes which is a good size show and times in well with holiday leave.
