Hi all ,

I was wondering if there was any harm in giving my baby zeb's some " mashed sweet potatoe & carrot ?? I mixed a bit up with my egg mix !!
They seem to love it, I thought i would give them something different for a change !!
Anyone got any tips on other foods other than the usaul egg mix , seed and lettuce ??
Cheers Freddy. :o

All things in moderation though I do steer clear of Avocado , onion and lettuce .
Avo and onion can kill birds and lettuce is suppose to give birds the runs .

I give lettuce all the time. though never more than 2 leaves at a time (1 for the quails, 1 for the finches, though the quails usually end up getting some of the finch leaf too.) Maybe it's because of the mainly seed diet I feed (as well as mealworms and cucumber etc.) that I don't seem to ever have had a case of 'the runs'.

I give my birds grated and sliced carrot as well
