My cock is trying to get his hen to go back down, but she is a visual white double factor pied and her eyes are going dull. Losing her sight. So don't know how she will cope.

Had them once. Blue's, Pied's,White's and fawns I sexed them buy under the beak The males are rounded and the hen is more pointed where the beak attaches. Breed them in budgie boxes.Got rid of all of them they took over, they breed like, well sparrows.They laid in each others boxes 6 to 8 hatched and fledged per box.

I agree with you, my two java's just layed 4 eggs and they used the budgie box instead of the bottle neck nest, your sexing technique is really handy thanks i only have the black headed/grey body/brown chest/white cheeks and red beaks. what exactly are they classed as (eg. Blue's, Peid's) i know what the white's look like.
