I am still waiting on my books to be sent back too! I have been told that a large scale audit of the records is in place. I think that this is subcontracted out. So Im still waiting.

They already are http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gouldian_Finch

However they have been doing good work up there with adding the nest boxes (tubes) they like. Its those pesky longtails that have been giving them problems!

Save the Gouldian Fund is already doing great work with the preservation and understanding of Gouldian Finches. There was (don't know if there still is) a disease in the wild that contributed to the decline of the Gouldian in the wild. As well as the Gouldian being a less agressive finch. (Apart from Deb's pair  )

Got my books back fairly quickly. License renewal on the other hand. Put in for a 5 year basic reptile license at the same time as my Class 2 Aviary rego ( 18th June), was told reptiles would go under the same number. Recieved a NEW reptile license (different number) on Tuesday, still have not recieved my AR back yet 30 WORKING days after it was lodged!!! :x WTF are they doing??? :x

Audits apparantly ... Im gonna be in so much trouble , fingers crossed they work like most government agencies and do say 1 in 20 or so that way I got a slight chance .
Havent received a record book and am not game to ask for a new one in case I bring attention to myself ...torn between telling the truth and dobbing in the breeder who sold me my D/bars without paperwork. :(
ITS JUST NOT AUSTRALIAN TO DOB.... :(
