Went to the Albury sale, due to a situation I only took 26 birds
5pr Blue Face P/F,2 pr Red Faced P/F,2pr Cordons,2pr Painteds & 2pr Jacarinis
They were sold in under 10min. and I was on my way home very quickly.
I hope Ballarat Sale will be as good.
In general the birds offered were very small in number and buyers far out weighed sellers.
Orange Sale is still the number one sale for me for buying and selling.

E. Orix you can't complain at a quick sale like that. Even if you only took 26 birds, that's still covered a bag or 2 of seed.

I took 10 finches, sold 6. I had 3 pr Masks, 1 pr WE Masks, 1 pr Cubans. The foreign and unlicensed birds sold quickly, licensed Australian finches are harder to sell. I believe a limited number of each variety of birds for sale produces a better clearance rate, unless you are at the largest sales like Orange. Over all the finch numbers are down at this time of year, most people have cleared their excess birds out by now. I noticed that most birds sold within 30/45 minutes, this is normal at most sales. Started at 11.00 left for home 12.15. Unsold birds back in holding aviary at 1.30.
E Orix was across from me. I said a quick hello then you were gone. I will took to you soon.
