hey guys i was just wondering, My gouldians have just laid 4 eggs and it's the first lot the hen has laid. so i was wondering what are the chances of them hatching. She and the cock bird take it in turns of sitting, and they sit on them only during the day.

If she is a first year hen and he is a young bird there is a fair chance the earliest laid are clear,but in saying that you could candle the eggs in a weeks time to be sure.I have let them sit and substituted their eggs with eggs from older birds.
