my birds are acting strange

they are eating then sleeping ever since I moved them a couple days ago I just noticed today and I lost 3 finches any help

worms, excessive cold, there are lots of reasons. is your aviary covered? does it have a dirt floor?

I changed them to a big cage on Tuesday and I lost 3 today or last night

how much bigger is the new cage ? it may be overwhelming them .

they lived most of there life in the pagoula and then they spent a few weeks outside the cage is tall about same height as my littler aviary I have 8 finches now

It seems the critical question is. Is the larger avairy as well protected from cold winds as the smaller avairy was? And possiblely also relavent. How close to dark did you release your birds into the bigger avairy. e.g Did they have 40mins or 4 hours to get used to their new avairy before dark?

As Jay said theres a number of reasons , Maybe they need to go back into the small cage for a respite and try again later after you have addressed all the issues that might be making them uncomfortable .

the ones that died where babies from last year could that be a problem

It is possible that younger birds may be less bomb proof. But still think answers to the above questions would make it easier to help you.
