"Just one pair won't hurt", said the shoeaholic to the shop assistant, or the finch lover to the finch breeder.

Nah to be quite honest Id rather stay off the roads at the moment , besides I have plenty to do tomorrow with the birds I already have . Will be pulling some Quarrion babies out and hand rearing them soon so want to get a good hospital box going ( I usually only hand feed in warmer weather ) and the others need more nesting material , tee tree etc ...hope the weather holds out.

Hi Deb,
I just got back.
The number of finches was pretty dissappointing.
I think from memory there were only 2 for 3 sellers selling finches - maybe about 20 or 30 finches in total.
My guess is about 500 birds in total.
I had a great day catching up with some old mates and meeting some new people.

Unfortunate Deb - the day lacked a little in the way of birds and a crowd - but I still had a good time!
I've been couped up inside working pretty hard for a couple of months - so I was glad for the drive and bird talk!

Was an awesome day for a drive after all the rain , everything looked clean and green ....roads are a bit ordinary , lots of potholes but thats OK.
