Rosas are notoriusly difficult to sex if it's any consulation. Parents bred neophemas for years and got it wrong about a third of the time. Too many eggs is a pretty good indication but. Think we all approch breeding season in a panic to have true pairs as opposed to pairs. When buying a pair of birds it is wise to ask if they are a pair or a true breeding pair and if you can exchange them it it turns out the buyer has made a mistake. The genuine ones will usually say no worries.

Thanks Deb,don't go out of your way but if your there it would be good to source one before spring. I'm feeling a bit better thanks to the antibiotics.Typical bloke didn't want to go to the Doc and wound up with severely infected sinus which has gone to my ear and gut.
Its amazing how its all connected , the pussy crap from your infected sinus / ear would be running down the thingy tube into your stomach , making you feel ill . Yucky hey.

He he he I actually had a tumor (benign) taken out of my ear (18 months ago), it ate the middle , inner and lower cochlear and chewed into my brain cavity ( explains a lot hey ) I see the Doc at least monthly and still dont know the terms they use .
But I do know all the gooey stuff runs south and can make for an awful stomach ache.
