Whats the best way to clean around the faces of hand fed birds , tissues and warm water just isnt doing it .

Sometimes you can reduce the amount of mess by folding a tissue and putting it under their 'chin' like a bib especially till they get a bit tidier eating and then just persist till you get every bit off before it sets like cement .Sometimes a piece of chux works in that it doesn't disintegrate as quick as tissue but as you probably know it's crucial to get it all off or they can get mandibular deformities while beaks are still soft and growing.
